Schedule for live seminars

During the summer school, we will host a series of live seminars. You are welcome to join in all sessions, or just a few, whatever suits you best.

All seminars will take place at 14.00 (IST)

July 24th Seminar for Illustration in the Pollard Collection of Children’s Books
July 25th Seminar for Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women and American Girlhood
July 26th No session
July 27th Seminar for (Re)Imagining Alice through Visual Representation
July 28th Seminar for “A private and secret country”: Ireland and C.S. Lewis’s The Chronicles of Narnia
July 29th Seminar for Ursula Le Guin: Fantasy, Authority, and Difference
July 30th Seminar for Forgetting to Remember; Memory in Irish Children’s Literature
July 31st Seminar for Us is near bein’ wild things ourselves: Exploring Nature in Children’s Literature

The platform we will use for these discussions is Microsoft Teams. Summer School participants will be emailed a link to join the team channel the day before the summer school is due to start.

We recognise that we have participants from all over the world this year and it is difficult to find a time that will suit everyone. Please note that seminars will be recorded so that participants who cannot attend the live session may still benefit from the discussion.
